A main focus of our organization is to promote the growth of young athletes in the region. Through this arm of Grandma’s Marathon, the Young Athletes Foundation helps inspire kids to be healthy. Wednesday Night at the Races runs in July and August with free races for kids 14 & under along with the Whipper Snapper Races during marathon weekend.

Art in me is a free, full filled day of artistic experiences that children and families engage in to discover their God-Given abilities of creative expression. Local artists set up booths where children can participate in make-and-take creative projects.
