Join us for an evening of present, joyful, connected singing!
There are many different kinds of song circles. This song circle will be in the oral tradition, so songs will be taught by song leader, Hella Wartman, and no music or lyric sheets will be used. We’ll mostly be singing songs that have been created by song leaders and passed from circle to circle. We’ll be singing a variety of rounds, layer songs, zipper songs and call & response songs. As a community song circle, all voices are valued and welcome!

$5 – $10 suggested donation per evening

Meet your Song Leader: Hella Wartman has many years of experience singing in ensembles and community choirs. She has participated in song leadership training and full voice coaching over the past 10 years. Hella has hosted many song circles in Minneapolis and Duluth. She’s currently hosting a monthly song circle at UUCD and Spirit of the Lake Community Arts.
