Make a book from scratch! This class is completely hands-on: participants will build their own hard cover 96-page blank books using traditional methods and materials. The class is taught in a professional bookbinding shop that uses classical turn-of-the-century (that is, last-century) equipment.

The class will be taught at The Tight Squeek Press’s bookbinding studio in the Spirit of the Lake Community Arts building. All materials, tools and equipment for the projects are supplied by the Tight Squeek Press.

Five Class Series – Tuesday Evenings
March 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th and April 1st
6:00pm – 9:00pm
$160 per student. No additional materials fees
Best for teens/adults

Jon Hinkel, proprietor of The Tight Squeek Press, will be the class instructor. Jon has been providing hand bookbinding, book repair services and bookbinding classes as part of the Tight Squeek Press offerings for over 14 years.
