Have fun springing into a new hobby by learning cake and cookie decorating basics. Practice using piping bags with different tips, learn how to make fancy designs with royal icing and much more. We will focus ideas on spring with its many flowers, leaves, birds, eggs in bright and pastel colors. No experience necessary.
Learn the basic techniques of decorating with buttercream and royal icing and leave with at least 6 cookies & cupcakes deliciously decorated by you. Bring a box or container to transport your masterpieces safely.

(an adult is welcome to stay on with any child participants, please register if you’d like to make your own 6 treats)
Students are welcome to bring any ideas they want to try as well as any decimating tools or materials you may have at home but it is not necessary.
Meet the instructor: Kelly Dupre loves art! She messes around in art of many kinds and has been decorating sweet treats for events, family and friends for over 15 years. A retired teacher, she now uses art to build community and connections.
