2018 Duluth Mom of the Year!
You already know her. She’s the mom who is likely short on time. She could be ultra organized or completely scatterbrained. Her kids are perfectly poised or total monkeys. She either manages the house, a professional workload, extra community engagement or she just makes it through the day. Perhaps she’s all of these things in turn. But to know her is to love her. She envelopes her friends and family with her warmth and acceptance. She’s the type of person you can’t help but admire. She has courage, confidence, vulnerability, and love in spades. And you know what? We think she deserves to be recognized for being her amazing self!
Who is the 2018 Duluth Mom of the Year?
We are now accepting submissions for the 2018 Duluth Mom of the Year. We are looking to recognize a local mom who stands out from the pack. When placing a nomination, ask yourself:
- Does she make a difference in the lives of her (or even others’) children?
- Does she embrace and offer encouragement to other moms around her?
- Does she play a vital part in the Duluth community?
- Does she do an outstanding job in her role as a mom, and in the other roles of her life?
You may want to nominate your own mom, your neighbor, your grandmother, your best friend, or your child’s teacher. We want to hear about the moms who inspire you! Nominations will be accepted from friends, husbands, fathers, grandmas, grandpas, siblings… and even kids themselves.
How to Nominate Someone for 2018 Duluth Mom of the Year:

- Please limit submissions to 500 words or less.
- Submissions will be accepted through Friday, April 20th at noon CST.
- Winner must be available on Monday, April 30th to receive their Maurices prize package.
