THANK YOU ST. LUKE’S and CLYDE IRON WORKS!

We’ve had the privilege of working with our local friends at both St. Luke’s and the Clyde Iron Works once again, to produce the much anticipated Sip and Shop event and it has been our absolute pleasure.

Several of our own writers and team members have had experiences within St. Luke’s walls (everything from delivering bundles of joy in their state-of-the-art birthing center, to surgery, and urgent care visits), and we are always delighted when our readers share their own St. Luke’s stories with us.

We were thrilled that Clyde Iron Works invited us back and helped us host another event in the most stunning and spacious event space. Their delish food, the attention to detail, the hip spaces… there is no other place in the Northland like the Clyde; they stand out as the place to host events.

Put simply, our events wouldn’t be possible without the sponsorship of St. Lukes and Clyde Iron Works. I can confidently speak for our entire team and over 100 beautiful women in attendance at our Sip and Shop event when I say “THANK YOU!”

First ANNUAL Sip and Shop EVENT RECAP

Our first ever Sip and Shop event was held on Saturday, October 6th and was a BLAST to say the least! Picture it: over one hundred women, fifteen plus vendors, mimosas, donuts and swag! It was so much fun watching everyone connect and enjoy themselves. We had a great time socializing, seeing the wide variety of goods and services our vendors brought to the event and anticipating the giveaway drawing! Thank you to our dedicated team of volunteers, every mama who came out to support local businesses, and thank you to our local businesses for coming out to support moms. We appreciate all of you!

maurices

Building community goes beyond getting to know your neighbors. It’s also about getting to know your locally-owned and -operated businesses. We strive to make sure Duluth Moms Blog events provide opportunities for local businesses to showcase their products to our event attendees. We thank maurices for their sponsorship of the Sip and Shop! Their pop-up boutique was a unique addition to our event!

TABLE SPONSORS

We hope that you had a chance to visit each table and spend time with each of these amazing Sip and Shop partners we hand picked for our event. Each business offers something wonderful for Duluth moms and we are pleased to have partnered with each business!

MORE FUN FROM OUR MORNING….

EVENT PHOTOGRAPHER

Anna McParlan from Along an Inland Sea Photography  was back to capture another Duluth Moms Blog event! Sometimes the best part of an event is being able to look back on it later. Her photos capture the spirit of community, the camaraderie, and the beauty of moms coming together to learn and grow with each other.  We are so thankful for our amazing partnership with her!

DECOR SPONSOR

We have been honored to partner with Northland Special Events for the past several DMB events and love everything Mariah creates for us. NSE encompasses three amazing businesses under one roof, including Duluth Balloon Company and Fluertation. They provide show-stopping balloons, special signage, floral centerpieces, photo walls, and all the finishing touches to add class and color to an event.  Northlad Special Events provided the donut wall for the Sip and Shop.  Mariah and her team always create a beautiful finished product for us and we are so lucky to work with them!

This event was sponsored by our valued partners, but all opinions and interpretations are our own.

Andrea Jang
A lake girl at heart, Andrea is thrilled to be a Duluthian! She lives in the Hillside with her husband, daughter (plus two angel babies that are with them in spirit), and two rescue pups. As a bi-racial and multicultural family, they have hopes and dreams of visiting her husband’s family in South Korea someday soon. Tiny joys that make her heart happy include: doodling, searching for sea glass, coffee with friends, fiber art, plants, a good vintage thrift find, music and great food & drinks. She also finds purpose in serving on the Diversity, Inclusion, Equity and Justice (DEIJ) committee at her daughter’s school, and also on City Mom Collective’s Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) committee. You will find her building community, connections and friendships in the northland as the owner of Duluth Mom. She invites you to visit her on Instagram or on LinkedIn.
