This is the time of the year to write to the Great Pumpkin. On Halloween night, the Great Pumpkin rises out of this pumpkin patch and flies through the air with his bag of toys for all the children!

October 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 Super Sunday Family Skate | Afternoon skating family fun! $6.50 plus additional charges if skates needed.  

October 2-3; 13-14; 20-21; 27-28 Engwall’s Corn Maze | 10 am- 6 pm With a giant corn pit, maze and a corn cannon, you’re bound to have a blast! See website for special themed events. 

October 2-3; 13-14; 20-21; 27-28 Simek’s Farm |10 am- 5 pm. Corn mazes, pumpkins, cider, fresh produce, hay rides and more, Simek’s Farm is a great family day! 

October 4 Night at the Museum | Glensheen 6-9 pm FREE self-guided tours. See website for info and tickets.

October 4, 11, 18, 25  Duluth Public Library | Storytime at the downtown location. 10:15-12:15. See website for more specifics. 

October 5-7; 12-14; 18-21; 26-28; 30-31 William A Irving Haunted Ship| 6:30- 10:30 pm.  Are you brave? Check out the Haunted ship.  See website for canned good ticket deals, age restrictions, and other info.

October 6-8; 13-15; 20-22 Ru-Ridge Corn Maze | Thursdays-Sundays, see link for hours, specials, deals and prices.

October 6-8; 13-15; 20-22; The Burch Barn | Fridays-Sundays, no rainy days. Much more than just a pumpkin patch, bring a picnic lunch and spend the day playing and exploring! See website for prices, hours and schedule changes.

October 6-8; 13-15, 20-22 Spirit Mountain | Open Friday Nights, Saturday/Sunday daytime.  See website for specifics.  With Adventure Park, Scenic Chairlift Rides, and a Mountain Bike Park, you wont miss a single fall leaf!

October 6-8 Bayfield Apple Fest | A beautiful drive to Bayfield WI for the 56th annual Apple Fest! Food, vendors, orchards and a parade makes for a great family day out!

October 7 Essentia Health Harvest Fun & Run |It’s not too late to sign up! See website for the kids and grownups options!

October 13; 29-30 Superstition and Flashlight Tours at Fairlawn Mansion|7:30 pm start time.  See website for specifics and age limitations. 

October 14, 21 Boo at the Zoo| 10 am- 4pm. See website for ticket info. Fun and festive for all ages, not too scary!!

October 19-22 Pumpkin Train Express |See website for tickets and hours.  Reservations ahead of time are strongly encouraged, as seats can fill up! 

October 19-20, 30 World of Wheels Skate Center | School’s out specials! See website for times and prices. 

October 21 Library Trick-or-treat! | 10 am- 2 pm. Scooby-Doo themed at the Superior Public Library. Please bring a non-perishable item.

October 25 St. Luke’s Miller Creek Medical Clinic | 3rd Annual Fall Festival. 5:30-7 pm. Treats, safety and s’mores station. 4190 Loberg Avenue, Hermantown MN.

October 26 WITC | Halloween Extravaganza. 4-8pm

October 28 World of Wheels Late Night | Parents skate free at this late night halloween skate. 5pm -12 am. See website for more info.

October 28 Howl-o-Ween | Hartley Nature Center. Pre-registration is required.  Please see website for times and costs!

October 28  Trunk or Treat | Eastridge Church 1-4 pm

October 29 Scarium at the Aquarium| 10am- 3pm.  Kids 12 and under get in free with a paid adult! Wear costumes and participate in crafts, games and trick or treating!

October 30 The Candy Carnival | Clyde Iron Works, 5-7pm. Hosted by Engage Church.  A free family event with prizes, games and treats! See website for specifics!

October 31 Trunk or Treat | Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Well lit, and safe for everyone. Starts at 4:30

October 31 Malloween | Contests, trick or treating and more, a family fun night! See website for more info and contest rules.

November 3-4 Duluth Junk Hunt | A two day, semi-annual sale of vintage and craft items. $5 admission. See website for location and details. 

November 3, 10, 17, 24  Pelican Coffee | Storytime 10-10:30. Free drip coffee to all adults participating!

November 5, 12, 19, 26 Super Sunday Family Skate | World of Wheels- Afternoon skating family fun! $6.50 plus additional charges if skates needed.  

November 11-12 Festival of Trees Craft Show | With so much to look at, you may come both days! Craft vendors and Christmas trees and more! See website for ticket information and times. 

November 12 Fall 2017 Rivet Run | Support Superior ski trails by running a fun 5k through beautiful Pattison Park! Caps at 100 participants. See website for registration.

November 18 Festival of the Season | 11th annual family fun at the Duluth Farmers Market
