I have so many memories of myself as a child visiting our local farm and chatting with “Farmer Nelson.” At the top of each hour, he would launch a pumpkin through the air on an apparatus he invented himself. All of the farm guests would gather in the pasture to see how far into the pond the pumpkin would fly.
