Fourth of July Festivities and Fireworks Surrounding Duluth

We have reached the dog days of summer and the fourth of July is quickly approaching! Duluth Mom is so excited to be able to share local happenings with you once again as local establishments and events start coming back to the area! In this guide you will find information about parades, fireworks, activities, and ideas to keep your family cool over the holiday weekend. Happy 4th!

Remember to keep your dogs inside during fireworks in case they get spooked. We don't want to lose our fur babies!

Fourth Fest

1:00pm Caribou Lake Association Annual Boat Parade 

1:00pm Community 4th of July Celebration hosted by Duluth Harbor Mission

Tofte – Festivities from 11am-5pm including a parade, food, beverages and live music.

11:00am – Parade with a F-16 flyover around 10:41am

10am-3pm Car Show

Noon – 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament

10:10pm – Fireworks

 

*They will not be having activities for children in the park this year as they have years past. Maybe next year!

Brookston 10pm

Ely – 10 pm over Miners Lake

Pinehurst Beach – in Cloquet

Park Point Beach – many different spots along Park Point to swim.  Be aware of private vs. public land, whether or not there is a lifeguard on duty, and always follow rip current warning directions.

Movie Theater – Boss Baby 2, Trolls, Peter Rabbit 2 and Cruella are all playing around Duluth this weekend.

Adventure Zone – in Canal Park

We know that this weekend is going to be a scorcher. You will be hauling kids, wagons, lawn chairs and snacks all over beaches, streets, and parks.
