This post is sponsored by the Vanilla Bean. We had a fabulous experience and the opinions are our own.

Looking for an effortlessly planned meal for your family? Visit the Vanilla Bean-Duluth at their Woodland location on Mondays from 4pm-close as kids will eat for free with a purchase of an entree. I treated my husband and toddler to a meal out. It was affordable and we didn’t have to do the dishes! Check out their Facebook page for more details and continue reading as I share my family’s experience at the Vanilla Bean Duluth!

Endless Menu Options

If you come to dinner frazzled and need to unwind, Vanilla Bean has a fabulous selection of adult beverages for you to browse! If you come to dinner dreading the rest of the evening because you know you will still be up for a few hours battling a toddler, then you may want to opt for something caffeinated. Just make sure you come hungry because there is something for every one at the dinner table on the Vanilla Bean menu. For starters, they have a condensed all day breakfast menu, because we all know breakfast for dinner is the best. I had a very rich pasta dish, my husband was able to get his protein filled bowl with spunk and spice, and my toddler ate chicken strips. The portion sizes allowed us all to eat our hearts out and still share a taste of each others’ dishes. Visit their website here to see more menu options.

The Cherry on Top

Dessert is not required in order for your kids to eat free, but if you choose to forgo the dessert, you’re really missing out! The look on my daughters face when the Brownie Sundae arrived at our table via Thomas the attentive server, was PRICELESS. She was already happy to have plenty of booth space that allowed her to preform some of her usually puppy pretend antics. She was fully entertained by the lighting over the middle of the restaurant that changed color periodically as we practiced our color recognition. There was also a coloring sheet that, when completed, could be entered into a contest drawing for a surprise prize! Check out Vanilla Bean Duluth the next time you have the Monday blues. You will not be disappointed.

Andrea Jang
A lake girl at heart, Andrea is thrilled to be a Duluthian! She lives in the Hillside with her husband, daughter (plus two angel babies that are with them in spirit), and two rescue pups. As a bi-racial and multicultural family, they have hopes and dreams of visiting her husband’s family in South Korea someday soon. Tiny joys that make her heart happy include: doodling, searching for sea glass, coffee with friends, fiber art, plants, a good vintage thrift find, music and great food & drinks. She also finds purpose in serving on the Diversity, Inclusion, Equity and Justice (DEIJ) committee at her daughter’s school, and also on City Mom Collective’s Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) committee. You will find her building community, connections and friendships in the northland as the owner of Duluth Mom. She invites you to visit her on Instagram or on LinkedIn.
