A note from our writer Anna..
Maurices, you’ve helped me show up and feel beautiful wherever this seasons festivities take me. From the coziness of home to parties under twinkling lights, you’ve taken the guessing out of getting ready- so I can spend my time worrying about where to hide the elf on the shelf instead of what to wear. Merry merry Christmas!

I remember being a kid and loving every waking minute of the Christmas season. It was jam packed full of wonder and togetherness and my heart could hardly contain the joy. I’m still like that to this day. But now, I am the wonder stirrer, inviting little hearts to grab hold of the magic of the season. I want my kids to have that same anticipation and awe at all the holidays have in store. I want them to remember togetherness, front hallways packed with shoes of people we love, and “silent night” piping through their Uncles house. I want them to store images of hope and beauty in their hearts and have it all sprinkled with a little red and green sparkle.
You all know how it is with young kiddos. There is only so much time in the day and my to do list seems never ending. With my youngest only 4 months old, there is no time to spend fretting about my postpartum body- I want to spend every waking minute of the day left savoring the joy of the season right alongside my crew. When I walked into Maurices, I was greeted with options that met me right in the middle of the season I am in. I no longer have to sacrifice comfort for style and vice versa. I found full outfits that are easy to mix and match and style me from the comfort of my lit up tree surrounded by my little loves to a dazzling cocktail party date night with my man.

Christmas pajamas are a tradition in our home. A new pair tucked into our drawers each December to wear on snowy slow mornings by the tree. Take a look at these plaid pajama pants and oversized tunic that were begging to be worn with a giant cup of coffee and a chunky baby in arms. Thankfully, I had both. And then there is the jumpsuit, that I swear any women would feel like a dazzling diva in. I’m a giant fan of jumpsuits, but this one takes the cake. Put my man on my arm, pour me a glass of red + lets celebrate. It is Christmas after all.
All things Cozy
Life is full and beautiful with three littles in arms. When we are snuggled in at home, comfort is essential- as is a little holiday spirit. These pajama pants and tunic are like spending your morning wrapped in a hug. And the gold flecked moccasins keep my toes toasty and my five year old eyeing their modest sparkle. Also raise your hand if a beanie your best friend?

As much as I’d usually tend to run from crowds, I have to admit there is a kind of jolly spirit in the air shopping at Christmas time. Maybe it’s the white chocolate peppermint mochas that accompany it- maybe it’s the bells being rung outside the stores or the thought of finding something that will put a giant smile on the face of someone I love. When running around town to grab treasures to put under our tree, I fell in love with these knit topped high duck boots. They will be worn to errands, the skating rink, the airport, and the cabin this winter. I basically never want to take them off. They are both practical and stylish- two things that can be hard to find in one in this beautiful tundra we call home.
Out and About
Running around town to grab presents to fill stockings and secret santa lists- I planned my outfit around them. Their versatility allows me to wear them from the skating rink to the mall- without sacrificing warmth or style. While I’m running around usually with a white chocolate peppermint in hand- because ’tis the season, layers upon layers are my jam.

Night on the Town
In this season of my life, dressing up is a luxury and isn’t as frequent year round with babies at home to dish out my love to. But the holidays bring the fun cocktail parties front and center with so many reasons to celebrate with the people I love. My biggest challenge? Feel beautiful and sparkly in a post partum body and Maurice’s knocked it out of the park with their holiday line. This jumpsuit hits all the right places and hides all the wrong ones.
