Amazing Grace Bakery and Cafe – Available 8am-12pm Saturday and Sunday. They have a lovely outdoor patio area right in the heart of Canal Park to sit and eat and people watch.

At Sara’s Table – The kids can order a Micky Mouse pancake, or a Bento Box – pretty special! Seasonal outdoor seating available.

Bridgeman’s

Dovetail Cafe

Duluth Grill

Lake Ave

New London Cafe

The Boat Club – This would be more of a child-free day-date spot

The Other Place Bar and Grille

The Pharm JuiceBar and Kitchen – Everything is Gluten Free and Vegan and delicious. My daughter loves the Lil’ Superhuman smoothie.

The Social House

Superior Waffle House – Technically across the bridge in Superior, WI but definitely worth the trip. The kids will think it is awesome to visit another state for brunch.

Uncle Louis Cafe

Vanilla Bean

Vista Brunch on the Bay Cruise – Seasonally (late June – Labor Day) on Sunday’s

Whole Foods Co-Op – Grab and Go hot bar

Hours and offerings are ever-changing – especially as we still make our way through the pandemic, worker shortage, and supply shortages. A lake girl at heart, Andrea is thrilled to be a Duluthian! She lives in the Hillside with her husband, daughter (plus two angel babies that are with them in spirit), and two rescue pups. As a bi-racial and multicultural family, they have hopes and dreams of visiting her husband’s family in South Korea someday soon. Tiny joys that make her heart happy include: doodling, searching for sea glass, coffee with friends, fiber art, plants, a good vintage thrift find, music and great food & drinks. She also finds purpose in serving on the Diversity, Inclusion, Equity and Justice (DEIJ) committee at her daughter’s school, and also on City Mom Collective’s Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) committee. You will find her building community, connections and friendships in the northland as the owner of Duluth Mom. She invites you to visit her on Instagram or on LinkedIn.
