You’re a mom so you know the value of planning ahead, especially when it comes to filling your summer calendar. The kiddos will be leaving those hallowed school halls for break before you know it and you’re going to want to have a solid plan to keep them entertained and active. To help you, we’ve put together the guide below. It’s filled with summer camp goodness, from traditional sleep away experiences to educational day camps, and more. Your littles will have amazing and quintessential summer childhood experiences and you’ll rest easy knowing they’re in great hands.

Wolf Ridge Summer Camp is the kind of place where living things can change before your eyes. Things like trees, animals, lakes, rivers and wetlands. Things like you. Because at Wolf Ridge, exploring with camp friends is the greatest adventure there is. Choose from over 2 dozen one-to-two week specialty camps, traditional camps, credit academies, and naturalist-guided wilderness trips created for adventurous spirits. Grades 2-12. Family camps and need-based scholarships are available.

Positive Energy Outdoors

Positive Energy Outdoors

Positive Energy Outdoors’ (PEO) Summer Adventure Club at Lowell Elementary School for grades K-5 and Summer Day Camps for children in grades K-12 combines age appropriate outdoor education activities (canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing, hiking, driving draft horses, swimming, paddle boarding and more), STEAM activities (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) and unstructured nature play. PEO staff are highly trained outdoor educators with years of experience working with children in the outdoors, with social and emotional learning at the forefront of everything we do.  PEO programs provide transformative experiences in nature, providing a progression of outdoor skills that encourages a lifetime of active adventures.  Summer Camp and Summer Adventure Club runs Monday-Friday from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm from June 15-September 4 (no camp the week of June 29-July 3), with extended care available from 7:30 am – 5:30 pm. Campers participate in small groups of up to 12/session—register early, as our popular programs fill up fast! Scholarships are available. For Summer Adventure Club, we offer a sibling discount as well as a discount for registering for all 10 weeks!

Summer Sing

Lake Superior Youth Chorus : Summer Sing

This four-day camp (Monday-Thursday) is held from 9:00-4:00 and includes t-shirt, bag, lunch, snacks in the $150 registration fee. Any student (grades 2-5) who loves to sing is invited to participate in one of LSYC’s fun-filled weeks of singing, music fundamentals, movement, and other activities. A Thursday afternoon performance for family and friends concludes the week of camp. Before and after care add-on options available during registration.

Covenant Park

Covenant Park offers day camps (grades 1-3) and several overnight traditional and rustic camping options (grades 2-GRAD) in a convenient location just 30 minutes from the Duluth area. Our camps are centered around building friendships, growing in relationship with Jesus in a faith based atmosphere, and lots of fun outdoor activities. Early Bird Discounts are available until April 1 and multi children discounts are also available.
